Harry (Dalcross Bandleader) 25/8/99 - 26/11/09
Once there was a little fat sausage
who became a beautiful puppy
who grew up to be a stunningly handsome dog
with a sunny, happy, clownish personality
who loved to run
and jump
and bounce
and then run some more.
Which is why I couldn't condemn him to a crippled half-life of indignity and frustration, although I would have loved to keep him with me forever.
Sleep well, my Baby Boy, my dog in a million. I love you. May your star ever shine brightly.

I am unable to say much as the tears are clouding my vision. What beautiful pictures of the happiest dog. He really was the most handsome boy and could any dog have had a better home? I don't think so. Sleep well Harry.
Bless him. And what a lovely tribute. He was a very lucky dog to have such a loving home. My thoughts are with you.
What great pictures of a great (huge!) character. Bless you for your bravery, knowing it's the right decision for him doesn't make it hurt any less.
Lots of love
M (mwah!)
Thanks for sharing your memories of Harry. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Allison and I will both be thinking of you and wishing you peace.
So sorry to hear the bad news. What happy pictures you have to remember him by - a real treasure.
What a beautiful tribute. I have tears streaming down my face. I am so very sorry for your loss. Such a special boy. Thinking of you and your family,
Harry was lucky to have such excellent owners, just as you were lucky to have been blessed with Harry.
I do hope your fond memories of Harry offer comfort at this sad time.
What a truly excellent Dog he was!
A beautiful set of photos, such great memories for you with every one. Thanks for sharing them with us. The title tune is playing in my head too. I only have one or two photos of my favourite dog, Bobby, we are lucky to live in the digital age now. Hugs and love. XX
Dear Jan
A wonderful tribute to a happy life.
Be brave
Andy
I just can't think of anything more to say. It had to be right for you both. He obviously had a great life and I feel for you.

Dear Jan and Ned,
so sorry. If he hadn't been so loved, he wouldn't be so missed. I'm sure he knew.
